Homemade Pesto.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups basil

  • 6 tablespoons pine nuts

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

  • water (as needed)

Recipe:

In a blender, add your basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and salt and blend until everything is mixed well together making a thick consistency. Add in your olive oil and blend for another minute. If needed, add in water a little at a time until you get the consistency you want.

And you’re all set! Use this for some homemade pasta, pizza, or your favorite vegan dish!
